Frequently Asked Questions
IS THE ZOO OPEN DURING HOLIDAYS?
Yes, if they are within our opening hours.
WHAT ARE THE BEST TIMES TO VISIT THE PARK?
The park visit was designed so that the animals are not disturbed by visitors (this is also in the regulation, which is rightly very strict on animal quality and welfare in zoos). The morning is an ideal time because the animals are active, as well as in the second half of the afternoon. Don’t forget to enjoy the educational activities and feedings that take place throughout the day.
ARE PETS ALLOWED IN THE PARK?
No, pets are not allowed in the park for health and safety reasons, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind (outside of the walk-in aviary).
CAN YOU FEED THE ANIMALS?
No, because most of the species presented at ZooParc are rare and protected species in their natural habitat; their health depends greatly on the quality of their food. This food is specific to each species and has a strict dietary regime approved by our veterinarians. However, it is possible to attend 4 to 6 daily “animal snacks/feedings” performed by our caretaker animators. The only exception concerns animals from the mini-farm; it is possible to give them pellets using a machine located at the entrance to the goat enclosure (tokens of 0.50 cts available at the park reception).
WHAT IS THE AVERAGE DURATION OF A VISIT?
From 4 hours to the entire day.
CAN YOU BRING YOUR OWN FOOD INTO THE PARK?
Yes, of course, there are picnic areas inside the park, sheltered and / or shaded.
CAN YOU EAT ON SITE?
The snack-restaurant “Le Bangkok” is open from 12pm from February to October. The bar is open in high season.
Microwaves are at your disposal at the snack restaurant to warm up your children’s bottles and jars.
IS IT ALLOWED TO RIDE IN-LINE SKATES, SCOOTERS, BICYCLES IN THE PARK?
No, only walking and wheelchair travel for people with reduced mobility are allowed.
